We send herewith N.Sch.4857 showing the front brake balance lever for Wraith II. This follows very closely the design already in use on Phantom III, with the exception of certain changes in the interests of lightness. We have modified the front pan to enable the balancing lever bearing pin to pass vertically through it, and so simplify the design of the latter at little or no increase in cost of the former. This drawing also shows the position of the drain holes in the bottom of the pan which we think are necessary, not so much for draining in as much as the pan is a completely closed box, but for ventilation to prevent interior corrosion.
