List of twelve modification and repair jobs to be carried out on car 37-EX.

| To HPS.{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr} from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std.8/AP.21.6.37 see file 306 Further to our Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std.9/AP.16.6.37. and Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/AFM.{Anthony F. Martindale}4/R.17.6.37., we find that there are a number of jobs which require doing on 37-EX. Will you therefore please carry out the following. (1) Remove radiator matrix unit and fit matrix unit which we will hand to you - also fit escape pipe which Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std. will supply. (2) Remove fan and drive and refit standard fan and drive. (3) Remove No.8. gearbox and refit No.11. gearbox. (4) Remove thermometers and pipes etc. and hand to Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std. (5) Reline brakes as instructed in Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/AFM.{Anthony F. Martindale}4/R.17.6.37 i.e. reline front and rear foot brake shoes with M.L. linings. (6) Fit new lamp wires as stated to be necessary by electricians. (7) B. side distributor top cracked - fit new top. (8) Knock from off-side rear - check slack in damper links etc. (9) No damper unit poundage - check for broken pipe and replace same. (10)Rear shock dampers to be given .010 clearance in bearings. (11)Automatic tappets - B. side front - no oil feed to end plunger - clean out casings and pipe lines etc. (12)Adjust clutch pedal.
