5-GOSHAWK-11.

Further to your report of the 30th.ult. which we have circulated as requested and of which we have sent you copy with our comments.

We should be glad to hear from you as to your proposed programme for running the Express Car, a point which BJ. is often enquiring about as he is anxious to know how many miles per week are being run and how soon the 10,000 miles will be completed.

We have also now received instructions from R.{Sir Henry Royce} for stronger steering levers to be fixed on the 10,000 miles trials car. The trouble here will be to have these levers made - he definitely instructs that these should be done on 6-Goshawk-11 before tested in France and we propose to obtain enough levers to see that the two remaining cars which leave here are strengthened up in this respect and also to be able to send levers to you and Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} for 5-Goshawk and 6-Goshawk-11 respectively.
