DISTRIBUTION BOARD FOR EARTHED WIRING SCHEME. X.2515. X.3923. X.3659. A second distribution board incorporating the modifications suggested in our Ck{Mr Clark}1/T7.2.20, and approved by you in your R5/G9.2.20, is being fitted to chassis #6.EX which is coming to you. You will notice that in addition to the above, an alteration has been made to the clips for the fuse holders, which alteration results in a better grip of the fuse holders being obtained. We had suggested that little mica shield was necessary to prevent molten metal from the main dynamo fuse falling upon the body of the cutout, but this point has not been incorporated at the moment. We had suggested other points to Mr. Day for consideration, copy of which we give on sheet attached. We do not think there are any other points that call for mention beyond the above andthose to which we have previously referred. I have your R2/G3.8.20, re connections of earthed wiring scheme and note that you wished to have the battery negative lead taken from the negative pole of the battery and earthed through a fuse on the distribution board. Presumably, one pole of each other unit would remain directly Contd. | ||
