Messrs. Peto & Radford,
50, Grosvenor Gardens,
LONDON, S.W.1.

For the attention of Mr. C.R.N Minchin.

Dear Sirs,

A fault has occurred on one of our 6-volt battery units of the BTH/11 type. The lid{A. J. Lidsey} studs have pulled out of the Dagenite, and we have had to replace this with one of the pair not on a car. We do not consider that the bolts have been screwed down more than reasonably tightly.

Presumably you would like us to return this battery to you for correction, or possibly to return a pair of them so that the method of fixing the studs in may be improved.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
Chief Inspector

We acknowledge receipt of Mr. Minchin's letter
