With reference to your memo. to Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}, BY14/P30.3.21, we shall be glad to know what is the present position on this matter, as we are being pressed by the Depots for some information, and they are asking whether we can supply nickel plated floats or agree to their having floats nickel plated to overcome the corrosion trouble which is very manifest owing to the poor quality of petrol which is being used.
