For the attention of Mr.C.Ward.

Dear Sir,

Re. Myth Chassis.

As promised to you during your visit to Derby, we attach herewith prints of:-

PL.20 - 1/4 Scale Layout of Four Door - Four Light "Myth".

PL.23 - 1/16 Scale Layout of "Myth".

The final object is your producing the whole of the first Experimental Car for this model, with the exception of the Engine, Gearbox, Clutch, Propeller Shaft and Axle, Suspension and Steering.

The first move which we suggest you should make is to produce a 1/4 scale layout of the body, cum-frame, in plan, elevation and suitable sectional views, showing the construction of the body, and its marriage to the chassis frame. It will be recalled that the body and frame are to be one as far as the strength and rigidity of the final structure are concerned.

If desired the frame may be altered in the plan view, to assist the body construction, so also may be the degree of tumble-in of the body in cross-section.

On receipt of this scheme from you we will complete the frame design, and give you the order to produce the frame and body, forthwith.

continued.
