-3- Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/AJL.1/W.17.12.29.Contd. Referring to (4) in Da{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/EV{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}3/10.12.29., in addition to the two alterations recommended, we would like to add a third viz: the use of hard rubber or insertion rubber as a packing in place of the present aluminium discs; I believe we asked for this a long time ago when investigating body booms etc. One thickness of rubber only could be used, and an aluminium packing thinner than at present by the thickness of the rubber would still be the means of adjusting the body sideways.
