Re: J.W.E. Banks, Esq.,
Pinchbeck Bars, nr. Spalding, Lincs.
Chassis No.B-72-FB. Complete delivery - 4.12.35.

The above Owner called in the Showrooms this morning concerning the exchange of his car for a used 4 1/4-litre Bentley and I thought you would be interested in his remarks concerning this car.

He says that since he took delivery he has done approximately 54,000 miles and the car has not yet been decarbonised as he says it appears to be unnecessary, there being no sign of pinking, the compression appears to be satisfactory and the oil consumption is between 1000/1500. The sparking plugs are the same KLG 850's which were supplied with the car and he has only had them out three times for check. He has always used Discol. The brakes have not yet been re-lined.

Mr. Banks is of the opinion that we would like to examine this car from our own point of view and he is quite prepared for us to do so. He thinks it is an excellent advertisement for us and he has no complaints.

I would mention I understand Mr. Banks to be a high speed driver and he usually travels round about 70/80 m.p.h. in his district. This is proved by the fact that a tyre only lasts him about 5,000 miles.
