Dear Mr. Robotham,

I suppose you have now returned from your holidays, and I trust that you enjoyed good weather and have benefited by the change.

Can I see you either at Derby or here next week? This Bearing Material development is reaching a very interesting stage.

The Associated Equipment Company are most interested. I am rather sorry to learn that they have already had some of the material from your end, but I have counteracted any idea of going ahead without proper discussion, by the attached letter to Mr. Robinson.

I have also received a letter from Mr. Dennis, of which I attach a copy, together with my reply. I have made contact with Morris and Standard, both of which are now expecting to see you or your representative, and I would like to draw up a programme as soon as possible. Needless to say, I shall leave no stone unturned to see that the job is handled properly.

For your information, I am going to Germany on September 2nd, and shall not be returning until the 13th or 14th. It is for that reason that I would like to see you before I go.

Yours sincerely,

W.C.Devereux.
