Modifications for a five-blade fan and pulleys for the 32-EX. Car No.13 unit.

| 300a. To HPS.{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr} from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std. 32-EX. CAR - No.13 UNIT. We wish this car to be fitted with a five blade fan with 1/1 ratio, as mentioned in Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std.8/JH.23.12.37. The pulleys, however, both fan and spring drive, should be modified in accordance with EXS.351/2 - we have already supplied a fan for modification for this car (again see Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std.8/JH. 23.12.37) In order to avoid delaying the engine No.13 in any way we suggest that you fit to No.13 unit the spring drive pulley which you are at present modifying to EXS.351 for No.6. unit and modify the pulley at present on No.13 unit in readiness for No.6. unit. The fan pulley of the fan supplied for No.13 unit will also of course need to be modified to EXS.352. We would draw your attention to the modification to the wheelcase of No.13 unit requested in Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std.8/JH.23.12.37. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std. | ||
