WW. 12.5.25. STANDARDISATION SHEET. 'V' SERIES SCUTTLE ISOLATION. A previous standardisation sheet has been circulated for the standardisation of a semi-flexible isolation between the scuttle and the dash. We were unable to obtain the signatures of Sales, who produced evidence in favour of a total isolation, which has been used on the 40/50 for several years. We understand that the C.S.C. is prepared to agree to this, and also that the Expl: Dept: at Derby raise no objection. We therefore propose to standardise a scheme of total isolation, in which there is no connection between the dashboard and the body. RR. will simply supply the rain gutter around the dashboard.
