The repair and upgrade of lamps for chassis B.32.AH by Messrs. Lucas, following a failure at the R.A.C. Eastbourne Rally.

Replying to your D/BP.33/OG.10.4.35., these lamps are to be repaired after failure during the R.A.C. Eastbourne Rally on the above chassis. Whilst at Messrs.Lucas they should be brought completely up-to-date including the new strengthened dipper bracket and when completed sent back to K for replacement use. We do not anticipate Messrs.Lucas will make any charge for this work in view of the discussion we had with their lamp designer on Saturday last, but if any charges are made they should be debited to W.P and not to the customer.
