Sidgreaves - MD}7/W/18.7.28. and HY{Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer}/Mtn5/K19.7.28. when H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} was here yesterday, the question of Speedometers arose in conversation, and he was very disappointed to hear that there was going to be delay in introducing the smaller instruments as standard. His view was that we ought to scrap parts rather than allow this improvement to be delayed. In order to enable us to put the suggestion up to BJ. we should be glad to know what the cost would be if we introduced it in either the G.2.A. or G.2.B. Series. We take it that in any case, it would be impossible for the F.P.B. Series. Thanking you in anticipation for your early reply, Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} | ||
