The A.T.Speedometer Co.Ltd.,

London, N.W.2.

Dear Mr.Buckland,

Referring to your letter of the 14th inst., we are pleased to note that you are going ahead with the R.R.50 alloy.

With regard to the last paragraph of your letter we do not anticipate that there will be any difficulty with running this material as a bearing. Where we have bearings on our own chassis of fairly high loading we use a different alloy i.e. R.R.53 but in your case we think the R.R.50 will be O.K.

We are looking forward to seeing these instruments in their final form as soon as possible.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
