SHOCK ABSORBERS FOR 129-GN.

On the 16th. inst., we despatched a pair of new type rear shock absorbers to be fitted to 129-GN.

These shock absorbers have the lubrication taken off the shock absorber arm and the spring loaded tube is now lubricated from the axle system. When these shock absorbers are fitted, the existing Bijur to the damper should be blocked up.

129-GN., being different to the cars we are at present turning out, requires a special ball end on the axle and pipe to couple up to the Enot's system. We are sending these along but they are delayed because they had to be made specially. If the dampers have not already been fitted it would be better to wait until you receive these parts, otherwise will you arrange to have the tube hand lubricated until the modification can be fitted.

We send you a blue print to shew you exactly what we mean.

Blue Print GL.{G. Linnett}460 att: to Br's. copy.

Since writing this memo we have heard that the shock absorbers have not yet arrived.
