Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}7/LG28.11.24. OBJECT OF TEST. COOLING INVESTIGATIONS. TESTER. W. A.{Mr Adams} Robotham. CONDITIONS. Tests on the road with 49-GB, 5-EX and 98-NK. SUMMARY OF TEST. The attached report on Radiator Tests are the results of a very large number of tests. The results of a great many early tests we scrapped because we could not obtain consistent results. It has been very difficult to obtain reliable com-parative tests on cooling. This is confirmed by the contra-dictory reports we get from cars in the hands of customers. The results of our tests have not shewn any way in which we can make a big improvement. We have got to take advantage of slight gains in various directions which, when added, do make a substantial improvement. From the results attached it will be seen that com-plaints of over-heating at high speeds can be most improved by increased ventilation. Complaints of contd :- | ||
