For the attention of Mr. Riley. Dear Sirs, We are enclosing for your attention the following drawings :- PL. 78 Piston. RE. 129 Gudgeon Pin. We wish to have these parts produced with as little delay as possible ( in the present circumstances) and would appreciate any comments you have to make, by return. In the meantime, it is our intention to order from you 18 such pistons. As soon as we get your comments, we will send an official order. While writing, will you please let us know the position of the two different experimental pistons outstanding to you at the present time ? (i) Deleted scraper ring. (ii) Extra metal on crown.
