I am in receipt of Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst.5/MA.15.6.34 and have noted with interest what you say. I presume we shall be allowed to see a drawing of the new suggested PS100 lamps before they actually make one? With regard to the question of lightening the existing P.100 lamp, I am glad to know that they have this matter in hand and that one will be sent to you for experimental tests on a Bentley chassis and another put on their shaking rig. You might ascertain whether they have submitted their horns to the latter test because I have this morning seen a complaint from a Bentley owner, who has been travelling a few thousand miles in France, to the effect that the inside of his horn keeps fallingto bits.
