New Bentley Starter Motor to RR. Sch. 399.

We are very pleased with the improved results obtained by the above modification to the Bentley starter motor.

We should now like to see results obtained with motoring the engine, giving comparisons with the present motor and with the new and old starter gear ratios, so that we can see which ratio in practice will be the more suitable with the extra motor power available.

The adoption of this modification will mean lengthening the carcase and the armature spindle byabout .2".
