Mr. R.{Sir Henry Royce} Stewart,
Stewartby,
Lincolnshire.

Dear Mr. Stewart,

I have heard from our London office that you are asking for the high geared axles on all three of the 3½ Litre Bentley chassis which you have on order.

Although I recommended the high geared axle for your open car, on drop head Coupe's my personal recommendation would be to stick to the Standard axle ratio. The Coupe cars will come out heavier than the Open car and unless you have a special desire for the high geared axle I think the standard would suit them better.

I am letting you have this information as I thought you may have got the impression that I am recommending high geared axles for all cars.

Yours sincerely,
