We have reverted to SZNX. as there is no doubt that SZNCR is too difficult a proposition from a manufacturing point of view for the 1st. Motion Shaft. Having to revert to SZNX. has meant an increased shaft diameter, with modification to certain clutch parts in consequence, but the Works will certainly appreciate not having to use SZNCR. (3). There were certain parts in connection with the brush gear, in connection with which I was given to understand the tools were in a very bad condition, and that the Works would have preferred to have made the new brush gear which we are ready to standardise, rather than work on with the old tools. However, in view of your complaint I have released the present material for the whole series. It will means something will have to be done to the existing tools, otherwise the accuracy and finish of the parts will not be satisfactory. (4). F.{Mr Friese} Department. All parts released.
