Instructions from Mr. Royce on modifying a badly worn Phantom radiator pivot and sphere.

PHANTOM RADIATOR PIVOT. +8250
Referring to the badly worn radiator pivot and sphere which was sent to WW. with report HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}2/LG11925., Mr. Royce saw this just before he left and remarked as follows:-
"Caseharden the pivot on the bearing portion,
"adding the thickness of the casing to the pin
"diameter and boring out the sphere larger to
"suit. Also try a sphere whitemetalled in the
"bore."
