run, altho equal mileages were covered, and more overload was carried in the form of four extra covers, only one burst and one puncture was experienced. Accounted by the fact that they were allowed to cool down every night and that the general running conditions were much cooler due to rain.
It is interesting to note that the tyres only burst during the heat of the day, and no undamaged tyres burst during the light running.
