X3745 Hs. {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from ROY {Sir Henry Royce} c to BY. {R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} ------------ ROY {Sir Henry Royce} 20/MG22.1.23 ------------ Ramsdens, of Halifax, makers of the "Jeavon" Gaiter, have now submitted a sample of their modified Gaiter fitted with loop lacing and their latest type Oil Conveyor and Distributor which sample I hand you herewith - also their Gaiter Charger which they suggest should be included in our Kit should we adopt same. If we are not interested in this form of loop laced Gaiter, they are prepared to make up samples with invisible lacing. Will you kindly advise what you think of the scheme compared with the "Wefco" which we are at present buying in bulk, so that we can advise London on the matter.
