Mr. G.R.N. Minchin,
50, Grosvenor Gardens,
London, S.W.1.

Dear Mr. Minchin,

Our Sales are asking us to whom the charge should be made for "certain work here in dismantling the Lucas magneto and fitting up standard magneto, etc." adding "As far as our information goes this machine was being tried by Mr. Minchin at the instance of the Expl. Dept.".

Our impression is that you yourself obtained this machine from Messrs. Lucas. Will it be O.K. for us to tell Cricklewood that this work was not done at the instance of the Expl. Dept. and that they will be in order in charging it to yourself ?

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
