Clarifying the procedure for handling defective Mark V matrices, specifying they be returned to the Repair Dept. and replaced with renovated units.

Referring to your/Br/G8/M.18.6.37. we would refer you to our Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std.11/AP.14.6.37. wherein we have instructed that in future any defective Mark V matrices should be returned to the Repair Dept. and not to the Experimental Dept., further that renovated Mark V matrices should be used as replacements and not new Mark VI matrix units.
