re Overheating on Phantom III Cars.
---------------------------

We have as you know several cases of complaints of overheating, for which we are waiting to find some cure. Amongst these are several, such as Mr.G.H.Whigham, 3-BU-148, who have been expecting some action on our part for some time.

We understand from your memos that the only remedy we are ready to put on at the present time is the high speed fan, and C. has asked me to write to you to know whether you can send N. a number of these to be fitted to cars quite soon, and if so, what number and when.

He is particularly anxious that we should fit high speed fans to the cars of several of the Maharajahs who are about to leave London either straight for India or for the Continent on the way to India.

In addition, we have a comment from the Duke of Kent's driver that the car is inclined to heat up, and if we fit a fan in his case we shall undoubtedly have to fit one immediately to the Duke of Gloucester's P.III also.

Will you kindly let us know what you think you can do.
