X346 Exptl. Dept. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Les.10/KW. 16th March, 1936. Messrs. Silentbloc Ltd., Victoria Gardens, Ladbroke Road, Notting Hill Gate, LONDON, W.11. For the attention of Mr. Jelly. Dear Sirs, We are designing an anti-roll rod assembly for one of our cars in which we are going to use your Silentbloc bushes E.2134 & E.2086. We should like to locate these bushes on the inside diameter against cones each end of the bush. This we believe is your standard practice on Hartford shock absorbers. Will you please let us know the thickness of your inner sleeve and the angle of the chamfer each end of the sleeve. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
