Dear Robotham,
Thank you for your letter of July 29th. I think it would be best not to say any more to Leylands about the origin of our two-leading-shoe brake design until we have got a bit further with negotiations that we are carrying on to try and get some proprietary brake manufacture to take up this design.
We will expound the hydraulic operation to your Mr. Martindale when he comes over.
