Mr.S.Hives,
General Manager,
Messrs.Rolls Royce Ltd.,
Nightingale Road,
DERBY.

Dear Mr.Hives,

I am anticipating being in Derby on Thursday next, the 2nd November, on business, and, not having been in contact with many of my old friends at R.R. for some years, wondered if you would kindly make it possible for me to see around the Works in a similar manner to which Mr.Royce arranged on my last visit a couple of years ago.

I shall be travelling with a Mr.Tipler, who is Chairman of our Cost Analysis Committee.

Hoping you will be able to comply with this request,

With kindest personal regards,

[Signature]

E.Beaumont,
Assistant to Chief Inspector.
