Dear Sirs, Referring to your letter of the 23rd.inst. ref: 47 Dep/CSV., we should be glad if you could let us know what is the Octane number for the non-inflammable Aviation Fuel. When our Mr. Robotham was in U.S.A. he brought back with him a sample of this fuel. We had this tested for knock-rating and the figure we got was 69. We do not put much reliance on this because it was a very small sample. We are definitely interested in this fuel and would also be glad if you would let us know the price for 100 gallons delivered at these Works. Yours faithfully, for Rolls-Royce Ltd. | ||
