RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} from EFC. X7660 EFC1/T8.4.29. FIRST S.S. DYNAMO WITH ARMATURE OF THE 'INVERIED' TYPE. Though the drawing for this armature appears O.K., the commutator position in relation to the armature has been found from test to be one segment out of desired position. We are therefore handing you back the armature so that a check may be made as to whether this is exactly to the drawing, and we shall be pleased to have your remarks in due course, so that we may know whether it will be necessary for the drawing to be altered for subsequent armatures of this type.
