MILEAGE. 1 Z.S.3 Bijur feed in OSF. lower yoke bearing in place of Z.S.2. 6693 1 Countersunk headed screw supplied and fitted to OSF. bellows box to clear side steering tube. 10000 1 Temporary rubber sleeve in fore & aft stay under gearbox. 2742 2 Solid shackles at front of rear springs. (N.S. thrust washer too small in diameter) 2174 Rear axle parts fitted in Shop 15.1.38 19705 The following points should be noted:- Periodic noises from water pump. Engine gears rattle, due to wear of fabroil wheel. Breather pipe on oil filler broken off. Radiator drain pipe broken off tap. Silencer hammered to clear pipe union on frame. Undersheets hammered to clear cross steering tubes and cut away to clear brake rod. Jumping out of 3rd gear and occasionally 2nd. gear. Rear brake drums very slightly cracked. Hexagon on OSR. aluminium hub cap damaged. Oil escape from NSR. hub due to wear of fibre washer by bearing turning in hub. Rear hydraulic jack pipes foul shock damper links on full bump. Bijur coil on OSF. top yoke bearings repaired by soldered sleeve. Yoke for fore and aft stay welded to gearbox cross member instead of stud and nut. | ||
