X5840 To Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/LES From G.W.H. Hotel de France. Chateauroux. Indre. 26.5.33. 18. G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} IV. HYDRAULIC DAMPERS. We have received your memo Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/LES 11/TT 23.5.33 dealing with the above. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - It will be difficult to improve the riding qualities and stability as we have now at present up to a speed of 80 M.P.H., using Firths road springs. We agree that above this speed there is not sufficient check on the springing and your scheme of limiting the valve movement ie. leak past the valve seating may give us the desired results. We will fit the valve and make the poundages as requested when they arrive. G.W.H. | ||
