We wish to try in a Bentley Test Bed Unit as soon as possible a set of Connecting Rods approximately 1.000" longer than standard. We suggest J.II connecting rods (E.57235/6), as these will only require slight modification. In order to be able to fit these longer rods we shall have to lift the Cylinder Block 1.000" so that we shall want a Packing Piece to do this. We shall also want a set of Push Rods 1.000" longer than standard and the method of holding down the tappets will require modifying. Will you please get out the necessary drawings and issue instructions for the job. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/R.Matthews. | ||
