Re. Bonnet Ventilation.

Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}24/T/W61113.

With reference to your memo Wor{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}/SM11/L41113, to Bullamore, Bullamore reports that the engine kept much cooler with the shutters open and that under these conditions he had no experience of water boiling, and he states that he has not driven a car with a Louvred bonnet under the same conditions, and, therefore, cannot give any information of the comparative efficiency of a shuttered bonnet and a louvred bonnet.

EP.{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}

[STAMP: 28 NOV 1913]

[HANDWRITTEN NOTE]
I have already reported regarding the shuttered bonnet & so has Mr Nadin in Report re Spanish Trials dated June 17th. 1913.
