X200a 25, Rue Gide, Levallois-Perret. Seine. France. GWH{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux}/9/JAB. 27th August 1936. To. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} From. G.W.H. 6. B. IV. I do not know whether you are aware that a propellor shaft damper is fitted to this car. In my opinion I think it is wrong, in view that we are running an II inch clutch plate with special liners. Will it not confuse the issue ? In the meantime, I have given instructions to remove the plates of the damper. ----------- G.W.H. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}'a note to G.W.H. :- Agreed. Damper only fitted to be available for experiment. 29.8.36. | ||
