Phantom II. Front Step Brackets

OCT

Further to the above and your complaint that the Coachbuilders had made a very poor job of the front step bracket on the Open Trials Car - 3 - WJ.

I would suggest that we have at Lillie Hall a stock of front step brackets which are slightly bent upwards, so that Coachbuilders could draw from these when they had occasion to require step bracket for splayed wings.

The present type of bracket we supply is curved to suit spare wheel and of course it is not possible for the Coachbuilders to straighten this out and use it on splayed wing car; nor would it be possible to use the standard straight type bracket, as the wing is several inches above the level of the bracket.

Perhaps you will be good enough to go into this matter and let me know what can be done.
