To Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} X 34~ Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}6/KW.19.12.35. "Autolock" - Phantom III. The Autolock dampers are things which would certainly have to do 15,000 miles road testing before they are put on a car which is delivered to the customer. If they went wrong there is a possibility of the shock absorber loading becoming permanently and impossibly high. These parts are being fitted to 32-EX car which is at present being prepared for 15,000 miles. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
