Bonnet.
Second hole cut in N.S. top panel for snap opening filler cap on reserve oil tank.
½ gallon of oil put in tank during pit stop.
Brakes.
Failed during practice; due to servo.
This was interchanged with Practice car B.187BL.
Adjusted during pit stop one notch each side at front only.
Hartford dampers on rear adjusted tighter also during pit stop. Pit stop during race 2min-12secs
Practice times for changing.
4 wheels, 25 galls of petrol, ½ gallon oil & chock
1 min - 33 ⅘ secs.
4 wheels, 25 galls of petrol.
1 min - 21 secs.
2 wheels & 15 galls of petrol
— 33 ⅖ secs.
Pit stop of 2m-12 secs during race included
4 wheels, 23 gallons petrol, ½ gall oil, tighten front brakes, tighten rear dampers & front wheel chocks.
