List of alterations required to convert chassis 23-EX to an N.2 series specification.

Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} From Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Ltd. c. to Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Ltd.5/KT.4.5.31. 23-EX. (re Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}6/E1.5.31.) The following alterations will be necessary to 23-EX to convert it to an N.2 series chassis as far as all visible components are concerned. Steering Column. At present 'E' type, requires an all black wheel, otherwise O.K. Radiator. N.2. series radiator required (shallow top tank etc.) Dashboard. N.2. series dashboard required. Bonnet. N.2. series bonnet required. Starting Handle. Handle with non-detachable shaft required. Petrol Tank. Hinged filler cap required. Auto Kleen Oil Filter. None fitted; this comes on at chassis 51. in N.2. series, so will possibly not be required. Front Apron. Required. Road Wheels. New set required, at present fitted with 19" wheels and U.S. Royal tyres. Spare Wheel Carrier. At present fitted with double rear carrier, no side carriers. Instrument board. N.2. series type required. Telegauge. New K.S. telegauge required, Nivex gauge fitted at present. Exhaust system. New system required, at present fitted with aluminium front expansion box and aluminium front end to main silencer. Carburetter. Air silenced carburetter required, the present one is not the fully modified type. Starting Carburetter. New one required; experimental type fitted. | ||
