Re 58-WJ...Thomas.
Hsl/MJ18.6.32

Mr.Thomas is a fast driver without a doubt and is very critical, so that had he been keeping 58-WJ we should have agreed to your suggestion to give him brakes similar to those on the cars of Messrs. Fairey, Thistelthwaite and Kaye Don.

As it is he has handed this car over and ordered a new Continental model for delivery in August - chassis No. 80-MS.

We are therefore asking the Works to see that this particular chassis has your latest practice in brakes from the point of view of the fast driver, at the time the chassis is turned out.

I am not certain when the ribbed drums will be coming through, but if there is any possibility of their being fitted to this car it would be advisable, but, of course, we cannot anticipate production.

C.
