Messrs. Rolls Royce, Ltd.
DERBY.

For the attention of Mr. Leslie.
Experimental Department.

Dear Sirs,

With further reference to our telephone conversation this afternoon, enclosed please find drawing showing the cam and valve arrangement for the bellows control shock absorbers and we should be pleased to have your confirmation that these details are correct.

With reference to the valve spindle, we understand from Mr. Armstrong that you intend putting two flats as shown in ink, and we should be obliged if you would advise us whether any extra diametral clearance will be necessary for you to carry out this alteration.

We confirm that we are putting in hand one pair of standard type shock absorbers as previously supplied but with the arms exactly as fitted to the rear of Mr. Armstrong's Bentley.

We hope to despatch these on Tuesday.

Yours faithfully,
p.p. ARMSTRONG'S PATENTS CO. LTD.
