Re. Radio Set for 40/50 Enclosed Limousine at Olympia.

The set we propose for fitting to this car is the Ekco Direct Control Type, the Direct Control Receiver being mounted in the instrument board with an associated 'Monitoring' Loud Speaker and with an additional loud speaker mounted in the rear compartment, preferably in the panel between the occasional seats. Alternatively a direct control receiver and loud speaker could be mounted flush between the two occasional seats in the rear compartment.

We leave the choice of these two to Sales due to the fact that we are not cognizant with the seating arrangement of the body

The latter arrangement is very satisfactory if there is sufficient depth in the cupboard when the glass partition is down and was used on a 25 HP. Rolls-Royce built by Mulliners of Chiswick for Messrs. Owen of Berkeley Street at the last Motor Show. This particular body design had previously allowed space for a Cocktail Cabinet between the occasional seats and this space was quite ample for the receiver and the loud speaker.

Messrs. E.K.Cole Ltd., the makers of this set, would be prepared to fit this equipment wherever it is most convenient to you and we should be glad if you would immediately get into touch with their Mr. Rex Cowley to make all arrangements etc.

When the set is ready to be fitted to the car I should personally like to come down and examine the same and the arrangements for fitting in the car etc.

Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/H.E.West.
