-3- HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}9/KW.6.12.35. (6) They have entirely cured rear main bearing leaks by a complete groove in the bearing and 3 drain holes in the lower half followed by a two row flinger - PIPE DIPPING INTO OIL IN BOTTOM HALF. (7) They have had to change to a four bearing from seven because of the master period which broke timing chassis in large numbers. During the lunch interval, one of the Graham salesmen and I went into the Lincoln Plant and drove the new small 12-cylinder Zephyr round their track. The engine was incredibly rough but the car handled surprisingly well. | ||
