7th December, 1938.

Mrs. E.R. Hall,
53, Berkeley Court,
LONDON. N.W.1.

Dear Mrs. Hall,

Many thanks for your letter of December 6th.

It is somewhat doubtful whether I shall be at the Works on Tuesday morning as I have to come to London on Monday, and may stay overnight. However, there is no doubt about your collecting the car, provided you do not want any particular modification carried out to it.

With regard to the P.III unit, you will remember that I spoke to E.R. about it at the Motor Show, and he pointed out that he had not yet got the 25/30 installed. I suggest that unless he actually wants the engine for installation, he should leave it until he is ready for it, because we could then incorporate up-to-date modifications to increase the power output. As a matter of fact, quite recently we have bumped into a material improvement in this respect.

Yours sincerely,
