BARNATO D/CC12/P.18-11-38. 18th. November 1938. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} R.{Sir Henry Royce} Hall, Esq., Hartley Cottage, Kirkburton, Yorks. Dear Sir, Bentley Chassis No. B-35-AE. -------------------------- We wish to bring to your notice the fact that the above car has been standing at our Service Station for well over twelve months, i.e. since August 1937. We shall be glad if you will kindly arrange for it to be collected, as the space it occupies is very valuable to us. Owing to the increased programme of aero engine manufacture which the Government have asked us to undertake, we require all available space. We could arrange for the car to be stored by a local firm of coachbuilders, Messrs. Sanderson & Holmes, Ltd., at a nominal charge of 10/- per week, if you so desired, and shall be glad if you will kindly let us know whether you will be collecting the car, or if it is to be put in storage at Messrs. Sanderson & Holmes, Ltd. Yours faithfully, FOR AND ON BEHALF OF BENTLEY MOTORS (1931) LTD. | ||
