W.A.Robotham, Esq.,
Messrs. Rolls Royce Ltd.
DERBY.

Dear Mr. Robotham,

I have now returned from the Continent and can start work in regard to the Bearing Alloys.

I shall be available, except for an intermittent day here and there, until the 18th October. From this date until the 30th October, I shall be away in Roumania.

I have heard from Leylands, and enclose you a copy of their letter, together with my reply. Contact has also been made with Dennis Bros. of Guildford, the Associated Equipment Co., the Standard Motor Co., and Morris Motors.

I assume that it will be preferable for these firms to be seen by me, and arrangements made to bring them to Derby with drawings, etc., or would it be better for your Engineer (unfortunately I have forgotten his name) to first visit them with me?

Yours sincerely,

W.C. Devereux

P.S. On the 'phone today I learn that Leylands are to visit you next week.

DICTATED, BUT NOT SIGNED
BY MR. DEVEREUX.
