X.3398 - P & R "BULL DOG" TYPE B.D.11 BATTERY.

The two batteries of P & R make which have recently been running on cars have now been opened up at Messrs. Peto & Radford's works in the presence of our representative, and we have a full report on the condition of these batteries. On the strength of this report, Messrs. Peto & Radford have recommended to us their modification of the thin plate high discharge rate H.D.E.13 battery which they have called their "Bull Dog" type B.D.11.

In accordance with instructions from Mr. Royce, and Mr. Johnson, it will now be necessary to order up three of these batteries experimentally for putting on cars, with the idea of possible early standardisation.

Would you, therefore, kindly put this matter in hand.

EFC.
